Chicken Lettuce Wraps Meal Prep
Ingredients:
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 1/4 lb flooring chicken
1 (8-oz) can water chestnuts, tired and diced
3 oz shiitake mushrooms diced (see note)
3 scallions thinly sliced
1 head of butter lettuce leaves eliminated and washed
SAUCE
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp standard soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp flippantly packed recent grated ginger
3 garlic cloves minced
1 shallot diced (see note)
Directions:
In a small bowl, upload all sauce foods and whisk together.
In a big skillet, upload 1 tbsp sesame oil and deliver to medium excessive heat. Add in flooring bird and cook dinner and stir till crumbled and browned. Add in water chestnuts and mushrooms.
Reduce warmth to medium. Pour in sauce and stir into foods till foods are evenly coated in sauce. Cover skillet with lid to cook dinner a couple of minutes and permit foods to take up sauce. Remove lid, style and make any changes as needed. If you favor a bit of sweeter, you'll be able to upload a bit of little bit of brown sugar. Stack a couple of lettuce leaves on one edge of your meal prep container. Place some scallions at the best lettuce leaf. Add bird filling to the different edge of your container. Seal bins and shop in fridge. When capable to eat, take away stack of lettuce leaves and scallions. Heat the filling. Then gather your lettuce wraps.
